1) Compliment Yourself
If you are that person waiting for compliments, stop waiting. Wishing and waiting for others to give you a compliment won’t happen.

It’s would be great if your friends or family acknowledged your work with a compliment but the truth is most of your goodness is not recognized even with the simplest of gestures such as a compliment.

This could cause damage to your self-worth and start negative patterns. Instead give yourself compliments, Love should always begin with you.

When you finish a task such as baking a cake, take a moment to tell yourself “Great Job!” Even look in the mirror and say “I look damn good!” Commit to a ritual of complimenting yourself daily.

2) Don’t Make Excuses
If you are that person that has an excuse for everything, stop! Before you make the next excuse, ask yourself, what can I do to improve it?

Take a second, be honest with yourself about what can I do better? Free yourself from the denials and acknowledge your actions, by changing your mindset you can live a much healthier and incredible life of integrity.

Have time to create daily positive momentum, which would lead you to move forward. Mahatma Gandhi says “It is wrong and immoral to seek to escape the consequences of one’s acts.”

3) Let It Go (Practice Forgiveness)
Letting go, is the hardest thing to do. Not only because we are letting go of something we really want and desire, or someone we really love; but mostly because we tend to see it as “I failed” or “I wasn’t enough” or “I should have done this or maybe that.”

Yes, you are the one that got burnt. So, why do you have to walk around holding grudges and resentment?

Your ego mind wants to keep you safe. If you get hurt your ego mind likes to replay it over and over, keeping the memory alive to prevent the same situation from happening again.

Letting it go of both self and others is the most powerful spiritual tool we have. Forgiveness is the key to freedom. Clinging to anything such as anger, possessions or anxiety will not allow us to be free.

This is by no means easy to put into practice. A great way to let things out is to take your feelings to your journal. Be completely real and raw. This a private conversation to yourself, so don’t hold back.

Sometimes journals might not be enough and the situation is to intense. In this case you might need a therapist or other professionals that can give feedback and guidance.

4) Be Helpful
Being helpful to other people is never going to get in the way of your goals or success.

The sooner you realize that we’re really all in this together, and that there’s enough room for everyone to succeed, the more successful you’ll be at achieving your goals in life and in business, in business you have to develop a helpful mindset.

5) Listen to Others
Some people just wants to be heard. They have so much going in their life, anyone who is willing to just sit and listen to them can be their lifesaver.

By just by allowing them to speak and make them feel comfortable which will cause a positive effect on you.

Go to events in your profession or business, engage in conversations, listen to lectures, take courses, and learn whenever you can.
